That twatwaffle needs to be fired and thrown in jail.

How much trouble would we be in if we told a cop he was going to be executed?

That Leo overreacted big time. I am not going through any car with someone in it. Then he flips out like someone just dropped a grenade. I am not in a place to look it up, but can you not carry a gun in your car in Ohio?

I would be pissed to if I had just found out that I could have gotten myself killed due to my retarded actions. but the way he handled it was completely out of control his partner should have pulled him back and told him to calm the fuck down.

See, I don't get that at all. CCW have to pass background checks and are more likely to be the good guys. CCW's aren't the thugs packin' with the intent to shoot somebody. Odds of a CCW shooting a cop at a stop is highly unlikely. I call BS for the cop being "in danger" with a CCW carrying. The CCW'er should of had a talking to about informing the officer correctly. Now, had the driver NOT had a CCW, then I'd agree with officer being in a more dangerous situation.

Those aren't the best words when telling a cop you are carrying, especially if he's climbing into your car.

I agree that he should have told the officer right then, though.

ok i agree with this. its true some one with a CCW is more likely to not be a problem. but i see the officers point of view on it as well im sure he just wasn't expecting for their to be a gun and thats a rookie mistake on his part.

Oh, its obvious he wasn't expecting one of the people to have a gun. Him flipping out like he was in danger, like the driver was waving it around and putting it "in his face" is just ridiculous. The LEO even showed his true colors when he stated all CCW's should be summarily dealt with.

All said while hands remain on the steering wheel. Never been harassed about it, and I don't have a CHL, though Marisa does.

                    Blame

IMO, Blame can be shared. The first cop was a total prick from the beginning.

                    1. The driver was NOT approached or asked anything for almost 5 minutes.- Cops fault
                    2. Why the hell would the second cop who arrived 1 minute later begin searching the car with out it being secured?- Cops fault
                    3. While the 2nd cop was in the car searching the driver should be holding up his DL and CHL. say "excuse me". - Drivers fault
                    4. WTH, Driving around without headlights on? I guess as long as he doesn't kill anyone it's o.k., selective application of the law I guess.

I have been pulled over and before the officer gets to the car I have my DL, CHL and insurance card out and my hands on the wheel. If it's at night I turn on the interior light so there is no questioning my actions. If I am polite and cooperative I get the same in return.

Richland Hills does this ALL the time, and it pisses me off. I've nearly hit them on several occasions because I couldn't see them.

YES! Fucking assholes. Thankfully since I moved over to Hurst I don't have to worry about that.

All I see is a piece of s##t doing what a lot of people expect of the police. This video is the way a lot of people view cops big heads big egos and above the law.

I've been stopped several times and I always say "Officer, I have a CHL, the pistol is in the door." Never had a problem with the exception of the Trooper who decided to spend, not kidding, 20 minutes lecturing me how the left shoulder wasn't a shoulder and I should never drive on the left side of the road.

I haven't been able to watch the video, only read the articles. I feel the officer should shoulder most of the blame here. Driver; gets a zero for failing to be a big boy and convey he is a permitted CCW and in possession of the later. Should charges be dropped? Uh ya. That should at least be easier when he sues them. Should the officer be dropped? Uh ya. That should be easier on the community before he goes all sorts of insane.

Never been given a second chance.....never.. just sayin
