  • BB machine gun?

Anyone remember those BB full auto machine guns you used to see in the back of the Hot Rod, Popular Mechanics, etc? Ran on a can of Freon?

Anyone have/had/seen one of these in person? $45 sound fair?

This may be a really stupid question, but with what douchebags the BATFE are, (see project gunrunner), I have to ask if that would even be legal without the class 3 bullshit.
I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

Sex with an Asian woman is great, but 30 minutes later you're horny again.

I was wondering about it too. I have no idea. Being that it doesn't actually "fire" with any kind of shells, I wonder if its more relaxed. Pretty much a paint ball gun with much smaller caliber and harder projectiles.

They're not regulated by the BATFE, but being powered by CO2, they're pretty underpowered. They're on Amazon, by the way.

I still have mine. It was marketed under the name Annihilator. Bought it out of High Times magazine back in the early 80's. It was cool for about 10 minutes, until you find out that the freon can gets uber cold under full auto spraying and loses pressure to where nothing comes out the barrel. They made an adapter that you could put on that allowed you to hook up to a small scuba tank, and I imagine this would be the way to go if you really wanted to get serious with it. Oh, and those really cool pictures in the ads of the guy shattering soda bottles? Never had enough power to do anything close to that. You could, however, scare the shit out of cats!

Have you ever seen that carnival game, where you have to shoot out a red star with an auto BB gun to win a prize? Same thing. I'm pretty sure that the BATFE isn't following all of them around, trying to get them shut down.

Use compressed air and you won't have to deal with the freeze factor. As has been said though, it's fun for about 10 minutes. I've done the carnival game a few times, and didn't feel the need to go back after trying to plink out a few targets.
