            Fuck yes.
Mossberg doesn't make anything worth owning, sans 500/590.

I had one. There were definite quality problems, although in the end it worked and had a lot of features for the money.

Canted sights, aluminum receiver, a few other finicky things. In the end, it was cool, but it was still a mossberg.

If the POS Mossberg makes her happy then I really don't care.
At this point it's all about what she is comfortable with.

I looked at the S&W, Mossberg, and Colt.
The Mossberg felt cheap, and was no where near what I was looking for. I went with the S&W. Cabela's ran an ad for the Colt M4 Ops for $399, regular price was $599, so I bought it and sold the S&W.

They had all of them sitting side by side. I really liked the S&W, but they didn't want to make a deal on it.

I really liked the S&W, it ate up anything I thew at it, but I am not much of a plastic guy, wanted the feel of metal!

That's cool. For $200 it could fall apart after 50 rounds, and I really couldn't be all that pissed about it.
A cheap gun is just that.

I've been thinking of a 22 rimfire rifle, but more along these lines:

The Henry Pump Action Octagon .22 rifle joins faded jeans, Mom's apple pie, a restored '57 Chevy as an all-American icon. Now fitted with a blue octagonal barrel, it resurrects the great old days of the traditional shooting gallery. The Henry Pump Octagon, available in calibers .22LR or .22 Magnum, is one gun that is
