Mossberg 22 tactical

Anyone own or shoot one of these? I don't own anything in 22 cal yet and via family have use of some of the standard 22 cal rifles, AK47, and AR15

Just looking for feedback and possibly a good source to pick one up?

I was planning on going to the show in Allen later this month and was going to check there.

The fake charging handle was the end of it for me at least. Even at 250, rather spend a little more and get a nice rifle.

Hell, you could conceivably spend a little less, get a 10/22 or a Marlin 60, and have a better rifle.

That was my point. I've got use of a mossberg 22 rifle and a ruger 10/22 and was looking for something different.

The marlin 22 is something different I might look at as well

If you want to mod it, a 10/22 can be made to out shoot almost any semi-auto .22lr. If you want an off the shelf gun that's handy, inexpensive, and shoots well, get a Marlin 60. Buying shit because it's, "different," can be* really stupid. Form follows function.

This! I have one and love the damn thing, had a friend come by and let his three boys ages 13, 7, 5 use it they all hit paper with it and proper instruction was all it took.
