I'm checking out a Colt AR-15, but the lower has the LE/govt use only stamp engraved into it. Is that going to be a problem for a civilian purchase? What if there is ever a ban on AR's again, in my head it seems like somehow they would screw me into not being able to have one since it has the LE stamp.

no problem at all no matter what happens. Many, MANY things have LE only stamps - like EOTech's for instance. My 1911 and M16 both say property of US Government - you're fineOriginally posted by spederman View PostI'm checking out a Colt AR-15, but the lower has the LE/govt use only stamp engraved into it.
