Gun show and sign is the best way. I have sold 6-7 firearms that way. Easiest way I can think of.

This! I sold my Taurus PT 709 within 15 minutes of walking in the door at the Market Hall gun show. Just make sure the sign has a price at least $50 higher than your bottom line.

My best was an AK, I made in 10 ft in the door and a young dude stops me. I didn't even have a sign. Sold with in minutes.

Another time my brother walked the hall for hours with a Taurus PT111 for sale. I took the pistol, found some questionable looking crackers and asked if they had any cash and wanted a hand gun. They produced cash, took a pick of their ID with camera phone, wrote down their DL number and names and that was that. Of course when I took the gun from my brother the price went up and we got asking price. He bought lunch.

Have you found where you are going to get your STI from and wich model? I am still stuck between a Edge, Tactical 50 or an Eagle 50 all in 9mm.

I have been pouring over as much as I can on them on the internet. I have ran accross a trend of STI bashing on youtube, apparently there are issues with guns that have less than 1000 rounds ran through them. One of the bashers used to work there.

Their are plenty of guys that bash almost everything. I've fondled and shot almost every high end 1911 out there. Dollar for dollar, you can't touch Sti. I will be buying mine from sporting arms. I have purchased a lot from them and they are great people with great prices.

Looks like there a few stocking dealers too. Does sporting arms keep any on the shelf or are you going to have to wait the 16-24 weeks for it to be built? If I end up ordering from Brazos Customs I would like to take a trip down there and pick it up in person.
