good posts CJ. I think you just verbalized many of the items I have thought for a long time. In a *somewhat* cohesive train of thought that comes to a very good point.

They are not just a result of their environment. They make choices over and over again to support the mentality they have. What they do is leach on society , and deliver a fantasy world surrounding it of an entire victimization in their life. Which is truely unbelievable by the working class in virtually all aspects. There are many middle class Americans who have very little , are possibly as close as you can get to the poverty line who do not hold this mindset. They understand the need to work , be respectible , and honest in all the affairs of their life.
That is the beauty of it. They are the clowns , and they have no one to blame but themselves for throwing away their life by having no diligence in the pursuit of education, a career , a family , or pretty much ANYTHING worthwhile.

It's their life and they've thrown it away. That doesn't make them a victim though, especially here in America - the land of oppurtunity.

You don't see the illegal immigrants (i.e. the normal ones crossing the border for a better life) , turning to thug life necessarily . Many are hard working people who don't hold such a rediculous mentality. I don't say this because I agree with the reasoning some of them hold here in the states, flying their own flag and shit. However, there is a distinct difference in the mentality of both types of people, even though they each have little monetarily. (inner city ghetto thugs vs. border hoppers, lol - my quick breakdown !)

Not only Greece is throwing strikes, the UK today joined strikes because gov. workers dont want to take pay cuts on their pensions, they have to make cuts somewhere... Today it took people over 3 hours to get in from the international gates at Heathrow because the majority of them went on strike. Also most schools closed because fucking teachers don't like the pay cuts either. Its not cutting their salaries, just their pensions. Honestly we need to cut people off from ALL social care. Welfare steam roll that shit, we will have riots? Fucking shoot them.

Someone might have posted the link but there is a Ford Mustang forum where this use of self defense and the two...ahem...gentlemen in question, Mr. Blackburn Jr. and Mr. Turner....and Mr. Blackburn, Jr.'s use of social media as his outlet for his feelings, were discussed in length. It is interesting to see where else this situation has been mentioned.

Oh, and to a person the Mustang forum folks felt it was a righteous shot and that the two "youths" in questions should seek to turn their lives around and be protective members of society...at least along those lines.

What can you really expect from them? Their role models are criminals - sagging pants - replicating the look over over sized prison clothing? They aspire to be criminals, and eventually they expect to be in prison. And when they go to prison they are even more respected by their culture. You might not have considered this - but think about the parallels between inner cities (like detroit for instance) and prisons. Most all of the occupants are on a fixed income - they all receive the same amount of money - or rations between each other. So actual wealth is not much of a competition. Perceived wealth however, is. Respect is earned through violence. They live in a world without consequences. They don't even use their own names out of fear of legal repercussions, expecting to be involved in crime. They're never named 'David' or 'Adam' - it's Q Ball, and T-slang. They can't 'lose their job' - they don't have one! The government pays for everything with section 8 housing, fraudulent social security disability claims - these inner city women regularly claim their children are mentally handicapped, to get free money for them. I've seen women collecting 5 different SSID benefits for all of their children. This is why they steal from you, they don't understand what it's like to work for money - and to lose it to someone. Everything they have is given to them, they don't respect personal property or others like we do. Selling drugs makes you an entrepreneur, selling sex from prostitutes makes you a 'pimp' - a highly regarded asset to the male community. But being a analyst, landscaper, or office worker - you're a target. The working class is seen as different, a target. They grow us despising this class, being taught they were not as fortunate as us, and that we are the problem and reason they are the way they are. They are not taught that if they work hard, they can also have all of these things - legitimately. Ever tried to engage a thug in a conversation? Usually what happens is they immediately look like an idiot because they lack the verbal capacity to communicate their own perspective across, and then they usually become irate and violent due to the inferiority complex. If you question their lifestyle, they react with violence because they have no other tools to communicate. Obviously you can see I'm a little jaded - but I've dealt with this shit personally, and been the victim of a violent crime. It is very disappointing. The social programs this country and the left put into effect over the last 3 decades are responsible for this. They have created this culture. It is an absolute failure, and a sess pool of dependency. It will get worse, and worse, and worse as we grow older. We (the working class) will have to give more and more of our money to support these people. They are too stupid to fend for themselves. The only way we can ever have any hope for them is to remove all of this dependency and social programs they receive. Make them work for a living. Capitalism and a free market is a beautiful thing - you don't work for a living, you die. It keeps you honest and it instills respect for others - especially yourself.
