  • Attempted Robbery

I will just post a summary.

My pregnant girl went to store on father's day. Some guys saw she had money when the clerk told her the card machine was down. Guy behind her grabbed her shoulder and demanded cash. She called me. Aforementioned guy went outside rounded up some of his buddies and waited by her car for her. She stayed inside till I pulled into lot. They went right for her and I yelled from my vehicle which put their attention on me. 1 6ft plus black dude decides to come to my door. I told him to get back and drew my 357, he spun around and said "Oh, I got it man" My girl got into her car and we went home and called the police. Police called yesterday and confirmed they had caught the suspects. They wanted to know if we wanted to press charges. They were caught with a large amount of unexplainable cash, illegal knives, and credit cards that were not theirs. I'm so thankful they got those scumbags.

Wow! Good thing she wasn't hurt. Did any of the employees try to stop it?

            You have to press charges.

Too bad you didn't get a chance to put some holes in those fucks.

It was a shitty store off Lancaster and Stalcup in Fort Worth. It's a patchy area with really nice homes and then shit splattered here and there. She had no clue to stay away from there! From what she said it almost seems the clerk could have been involved. Other than telling the guy to leave her be he did not seem concerned. In fact he counted her change very publicly and in plain view of the guy who grabbed her. Police lady stated that these guys would go up to people in the parking lot trying to sale something. When your interest went to their items they would get close enough to grab what they wanted. If you fought back they pulled their knives. Apparently there were many other similair calls about these idiots.

Hell yeah we are pressing harrassment charges. I don't know if we can get them for robbery because I showed up before it got bad.

If there is such a charge it sounds like you could have them on attempted robbery?

That's one of the reasons I do now.

Trying to rob me from what I could gather, yeah I was in a stupid situation, my vette was damn near out of gas and I didn't want to run out for fear of burning up my fuel pump (common problem). Shouldn't have pulled into that gas station, attracted the wrong kind of attention, and I was well aware and alert.

Glad she had the foresight to give you a call and quell the situation, could really have been a bad outcome. Is she considering carrying now?
