Anyone consolidate guns by ammo

I just dont feel like stocking up on multiple kinds of pistol ammo. I have a CZ82 in 9x18 and am thinking about selling it since I dont want to buy multiple kinds of ammo to shoot. 9x18 used to be cheap but now you can get normal 9mm for around the same price.

Anyone else doing this with thier guns?

I have a 9mm set. S&W 9mm, Beretta 90-two (9mm), Glock 26, Taurus 24/7, getting a CZ 75-B, and the odd ball out is the S&W .38 special.

My other calibers are either unique weapons that I rarely fire, or purchased to collect.
Magnum Research Micro Desert Eagle, .380
Magnum Research Desert Eagle 25th Anny, .50AE
Misc. Rifles, .17HMR, .22lr, 9mm, 7.62x39, 7.62x54R, .223, 30-06

Overall, I try to buy the same calibers whenever possible.

I figure if shit goes down and I can't find ammo for one or more, I'll still have plenty of others to go to.

There's a great line of logic there about piling up AR uppers. That's my plan, anyway.

I have a .380, a 9mm, and a .45. I believe this covers the entire range of what I would want a pistol for. I dont see the point in having anything else inbetween these(for my personal use). I wouldnt mind adding a larer caliber revolver to the mix tho.

5.56/.223, .308, .,22lr and 12ga for long guns and 5.56/.223, 9mm, .45cal, .380 and .22lr for pistols

I am far heavier in the 9mm when it comes to pistols though.

I have two .40S&W and the rest I have only have one in each caliber. Im gonna start getting more for the same caliber since it will make reloading easier. Once I get a progressive press ill diversify more
