  • Tulammo .308 in a Saiga?

Considering they are both from Russia the steel cased Tulammo .308 should work in a Saiga .308 right?

I am picking it up Wednesday afternoon and would like to buy the steel to plink with. $6.49/box

if the saiga .308 is anything like all of its ak cousins im sure it will shoot whatever you want to run through it.

I've heard REALLY bad things about that ammo. Mainly through SKS variants though.

My SCAR ate it just fine, just the thought of steel case makes me shutter.

I have shot over 4k rounds of steel cased down my saiga 7.62x39 with not one problem.

Well I picked up my Saiga .308 and I am going to drop by CTD on Saturday and pick up:

            (2) Boxes of Brass .308
            (2) Boxes of Brown Bear .308
            (2) Boxes of Silver Bear .308
            (2) Boxes of Tula .308

I will shoot in order of the list and see what it eats. Hopefully, because it is Russian and they use steel cased over there, it should eat all no problems.

I love this gun already, and I haven't even got to shoot it yet. Some paid a lot of money on the conversion...it was done right.
