Market Hall Gun Show 6/11 & 6/12

Good show for me, found a LR-308 upper receiver with charging handle, F/A and ejection port cover for $159 plus a couple other parts for the .338 build. Also a new 40 rd Ar-15 mag for $10 (works great for .458 Socom), new AMT Backup mag, paddle holster and pocket holster (hard to find) and a combo single/2-point sling.

clips, mags, bullet holding devices in which a simi auto uses. Who cares about the "proper" name jeez.

doesn't matter what they are called, everyone at the show this weekend thought they were selling gold.

Sure it does, when you say clip and when you say magazine you're talking about 2 different things.

This is prob the only forum I know that jumps on people for mistakes like that though. Spelling errors, grammar errors, improper word usage. People just need to relax and stop trying to put people down for something so silly.

I personally like to be corrected if I'm wrong/say something wrong/mispronounce something. It helps me not sound dumb and make mistakes more than once.

Plus "clips" instead of ''mags'' is a dead give away that you don't know shit about firearms ( thats coming from me and I don't know shit about them either) .

I think he was just correcting you so in the future people know what you were talking about.

I doubt that I "don't know shit about firearms." And this is exactly what I mean. Flaming someone for a single word. You don't know me or anything about me and yet you will judge based on one word. Sounds more like your problem then mine.

Lol, I should have reworded that. I meant, ANYONE that says clips when refering to mags SOUNDS like they don't know shit about firearms. Before I learned the difference, I called them clips also. I am typically a pistol shooter, and I call my pistol mags, "mags." For whatever reason I just used the wrong word for the AK in that post. I actually have not even shot it yet. I only just started shooting rifles a couple of months ago, and as of right now I'm awful at it, but it is fun (however the ammo is typically $$).

Anyway, no worries.

Better off than me, I knew fuck all about guns before I moved here. But I'm always down to learn.

Benefit of the doubt though, a lot of rifles do use "clips" of the stripper variety.
