I want a decent assisted open pocket knife

Are auto knives not against the law? Or is there some sort of safety or what not that allows this one to skirt the full auto law?

You know, I was not aware that they are illegal in TX. Federal law bans interstate commerce of switchblades but state laws vary. In CA where I'm from, it actually is legal to own a switchblade; you just cannot carry it or sell it.

I had an idea of what i wanted already but figured i would ask and get some more ideas.. After going to bass pro i played with 3 or 4 knives and liked the S&W the best or at least best for the $$
