Last shooting weekend before I head out to Pensacola so I wanted to give the AR a workout, but I cant find anything. Anyone know of any good deals on .223? I checked gun-deals.com and the only way to get brass under $0.37/round is to buy at least 500 at a time. I was really looking for 200 or so at most. I'm about to move and dont want to drop a few hundred on .223 ammo. Any help?

Yeah I have ordered from them in the past. I used their basic shipping but I think it still took 5 days or so. I'm sure they offer expedited shipping if you want to pay for it. Sorry I can't remember how fast it got here; that was a few months ago. check Cabelas, usually there Herters brand is around $5 -$6 per box of 20; they sometimes have some cheaper.....Comment

Well called CTD McKinney to see if they had that 50rd box in stock, since its a 2hr round trip. The guy said they had plenty. Got there, they had none, been sold out for days. I was pissed!
Got a couple PMags and left. Went to Cabelas and picked up some M855 for about .38 per round, which isnt bad for the penetrator stuff. I'll be going back to CTD tomorrow on the bike to save gas and pick up a couple hundred of the 50 round boxes they are getting in.Comment
