I have a gamo whisper, it's pretty quiet as long as you don't run pba ammo. If you do it sounds like a 22 when the pellet cracks from breaking the sound barrier. It came with an illuminated reticle 3-9 scope. It's fun to shoot. As far as noise goes I don't really care, I've blasted the 12 gauge in the front yard at 3 am before, yet to have a neighbor come over and complain.
