  • Nikon M-223 scopes?

I am looking to add a scope to my M4 and my local gun shop recommended them. I don't plan on doing a lot of hunting, but wouldn't mind some 100 yard and 200 yard shooting and maybe a competition or two.

Anyone have one and happy with it. Finding good deals that include the rail mount till the end of the month. Considering pulling the trigger for one.

    Thanks!

I think I'm going to grab one of these while the free mount promo ($99 value) is still going on.

They are suppose to be nice little scopes.

My buddy likes his, but I haven't used one yet. I can try and hook you up and see if he'd let you shoot it.

www.riflescopestore.com has some decent videos on youtube with them.

guy hit 4 targets, 1 ea. at 100yards, 200 yards, 300 yards and 400 yards in 21 seconds adjusting the range knob for each shot. Gun shop attendant I have been using here in College station told me about his 13 year old grandson who shot at a hog a couple weeks ago. ranged it at 220 yards, clicked the knob...dropped the hog behind the ear with one shot.

good bang for the buck...ordered mine a few minutes ago.

I think you guys are right on in your choice of the Nikon M-223 Series Rifle Scope. I was in that video shooting timed to 600 yards. It was my first time shooting AR's and the M-223 Scope. While I didn't come in at 21 sec. I did pretty well considering. Think about your needs and it'll make picking the right scope easier. If you want to shoot past 200 yards I would go with the increased magnification of the 2-8 or my favorite the 3-12. If you choose the BDC reticle, another of my favorites I would check out Nikonhunting.com, click on the Spot On logo, upper right corner, it's a free site that will give you all the ballistic info you could ever want.
You guys are also correct, the sale goes till the end of May. Make sure you pick out a PARTICIPATING Dealer to get your FREE Nikon M-223 AR Mount.

I ordered from the link in my last post. They were the easiest to order and make sure to get the free mount AND free shipping. He also provided the videos on youtube which convinced me to purchase. figured I would return the favor and order from him.

for me, the 2-8x32 will more than suit my needs and abilities. $329 to my door isn't bad.

Dude, we need to talk about y'all's tactical scope options! The glass is crazy nice, but the amount of internal adjustment leaves a lot to be desired.

Very clear. Holds zero well. Did take a while to sight in but may have been due to windy day. Moved it to wife's AR and she is picky...but she likes the glass. I bought one of the Nikon 308 scopes for my tikka and it is VERY nice too. I would say buy without worry.

I’ve got a Nikon p-rimfire on my ruger 10-22 and love it. It was my first Nikon, I think the clarity is on par with high end scopes.

Ive got one on my ar and am really happy with it. Glass is really clear, it has held a zeor great, the drop dots are really handy and pretty accurate. I would not hesitate to buy another one..
