So I ended up ordering a Noveske barreled vltor modular upper when I got home. More than I wanted to spend but whatev.

I haven't seen one in person yet, but they look really nice online.
Its the mod upper with the shell deflector and bolt assist.

The last dpms upper I saw had a misaligned gas block and wouldn't cycle. But, I think that was the exception.

I've got the itch to finish my rifle ASAP. The price seem pretty good on it, at least compared to what i've been seeing recently.
