  • Question about CHL?

I got a wet and reckless in California September of 09. Can I still get a CHL?

    Thanks!

You'd have to google and read the specifics behind the Texas CHL. However, I'm pretty sure the answer is no. The information should be pretty straight forward to find.

    Hell, here read for yourself....

I don't know about Texas, but the Florida/Utah CHL was two or more DUI in past three years. So, you might have an option there.

A downgraded charge from DUI in California. Less penalty and no license suspension.

              and it "Wet Reckless" btw.

                From the TxDPS page.

you are ineligible for a license for five years after a conviction for a Class A or Class B misdemeanor or disorderly conduct. This includes cases that were dismissed after you completed probation or deferred adjudication. If you have been convicted of two or more alcohol or drug-related offenses within the last 10 years, you may not be eligible.

yes I know and I have searched the site, I just don't know if a wet reckless is a class a, b, or c. I can't find it anywhere so I thought I'd ask but yeah I got a DUI but then it was knocked down to a wet reckless

Then I guess you should have asked that in the first place.

Google doesn't tell me anything either.

Think they will waive it for an Honorably Discharged Marine?
