I've got one on my AR and absolutely love it. My cousin has them on both of his. Of course we paid about $400 a piece for them back in '08.

Just so you know these are NOT the kits with the railed gas blocks or modified plastic handguards. I don't need the handguards but having the railed block is nice. I will pass.

I was originally turned off by this too...but I rarely rock iron sights anymore anyways. I'll get a quad rail setup eventually if I want BUIS in the future. I'm kind of an optic monkey now.

I love my adams arms piston setup, its on my carbine length ar. The bolt in carrier stay clean and cool. Shot two mags down range pulled the carrier bare handed and it was still cool and my hand wasn't black. My buddy tried that with his ar that is gas to bolt and the carries was hot as hell and turned his hand black. It also seems to have less recoil. I would recommend this kit to anybody.

I ordered the Mid-Lenght kit on the 27th. Got and email yesterday that said.

"We experienced a glitch in our system which did not inform us once when we ran out of products and allow us to pull them from the website in time"

So they refunded back my money, oh well.
