  • Anyone get a Bill Springfield trigger job?

So now that we have our triggers, has anyone ever let Bill Springfield do a trigger job? He comes highly recommended and for a fair price.

Who is bill Springfield? I can do a trigger job in 5 minutes for free.

His style(what he calls a trigger job)of trigger job really isn't a trigger job when it comes to an AR. A real trigger job is more then swapping springs; anyone can do that in a few minutes and it takes no real skill. I don't know about the other guns that he works on.

Strangely enough you can do a pretty good trigger job yourself just by using tooth paste as a lapping compound on just about any gun.
Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

If anyone has some tips I would rather do the work myself.

I had a few co-workers send him their triggers. I can tell you this he does more than polish with tooth paste and switch springs. His procedure actually involves welding on the trigger assembly and setting up to have a lower pull weight. His triggers have no creep and a very clean snap around 4 lb of pull. His triggers are damn good for the price.
