As long as the lower was never assembled as a rifle eg; a buttstock installed, and your upper to lower ratio is 1:1, it does not have to be specifically marked as a pistol.
When the stripped lower is manufactured/purchased it is classified as "OTHER" and is neither a pistol or rifle.

This is my understanding also.

I'm guessin at 75 or so . And good info on the lower not havin to be marked as pistol . I was just wanting it marked as to avoid any confusion for uninformed LEO's . I just got in a pissin match with a cop over a loaded gun in my truck . I I assumed they would get a class on that stuff or at least a memo! I know I would win in court, but i would rather avoid the situation.

How do you like the 7.5 I'm a little worried about range and have been having second thoughts about it but a 10.5 won't fit in my console . How far out can you hit center mass ? I know it's not going to be a 1moa pistol ( at least with me shooting ) but the only time I have shot one was at a 20 yrd range . And I loved it .

Only about 100rnds through it. Its accurate @ 20-30yards. Its an adams arms gas piston with some mbus' and no optics btw.
When I get some cash together for ammo, I plan on going to another shooting GTG. I would be glad to let you try it out.
