I use it alot on video games and sports although it doesnt do much in both those cases because the frame rates are already pretty high.
I like the way that shit looks. It looks like I could step into it.

Where'd you get that from? I live in Los Angeles now, and would like to know which local theaters here are showing.

Saw it yesterday. I thought it was fucking awesome and of course epic. Basically if you like LotR, then you'll like this. Has the same feel and character, but with more special effects, but great special effects.

Semi-Spoiler Alert! But has nothing to do with the actual story.

I thought it was pretty cool how they tied in Frodo at the beginning, but I thought Legolas was supposed to make an appearance? I did get up to pee though when they were in Rivendale so I might have missed it.

Also, theater was surprisingly empty for a 7pm Friday night showing. I bet it was only 3/4 full or so.

Where did you see it? I'm thinking about hitting up Northpark tomorrow morning to see it in Imax HFR 3D (the High Frame Right version) just to see what all the hype is about.

I liked it but had not seen it was going to be a 2 part movie.
