When 100-200 million dollars is on the line, you sure dont want to be "experimenting". That's their logic anyway. Its becoming more and more of an issue with gaming as well, as video game production values are balooning every year .
With video gaming budgets going nuts, and sequel after sequel coming out, its actually allowed risk-taking indie game companies to come out with new original ideas.
I can see the problem with risks. One bad movie has been the death of many a "strong" film company.Comment
