But back to the movie. Just got back and it does have that WWII vibe. It really captured that era. I like the nod to Bucky being Captain America in the comics. They really tied in Thor, The Incredible Hulk, and Ironman into this movie but didn't put too much emphasis on them. Hugo Weaving was perfect as Red Skull. The action never faded, it stays consistent throughout the film. I also enjoyed that they dressed him up in a cheesy outfit of his suit. I liked how it looked, the upgraded suit was well thought out. My only problem is that they didn't go into detail how they found Rogers and how they brought him back. Overall i give this movie 4 out of 5 red skulls.


Btw Poopnut, Hitler does make an appearance.

Hmm.... Bluray always gives you an option if theres alternation endings or intros. I have never seen that.

I gave an opinion of how it looks to me based on an interview and what my brother said about it since him and I usually have pretty similar opinions on movies. Not a review. I didn't expect you and Jedi to get all butt-hurt over it. Put down the tissue box and go read some more comics.

It was a decent movie, I wasn't blown away, but it was entertaining and accomplished the goal of telling the capt. America backstory. I would put it on par with Thor, just a necessary step towards the avengers. That said, the avenger's trailer looked badass, that movie will be the make it or break it moment so hopefully it is well done.

BTW am I the only one that hates 3D movies. I watched this one is 2D and never noticed a single scene where 3D would have made it better. Pay more money just to have headache for the first 15mins and to make the movie darker.

Saw the movie Sunday with my nephews and we all liked it. Could have watched and enjoyed it without the 3D but my nephews wanted to see it that way. Don't think it added to the movie and watching it in 2D won't take away from it either. I probably would have stayed after the ending credits if I had known about the trailer.

Finally got around to watching it. Wasn't bad. A little TOO over the top in some of the action montages (50ft tall tank) but the story was pretty good.
