It was an entertaining movie. Wasn't anything great, and wasn't anything terrible. Just . . . a movie.

As a big fan of the games, I feel they should have used the story lines from the last three games to get a good trilogy going. The fucking STORY MODES of the last three games was better than the movie in my opinion.

Spoiler: The main character (someone who doesn't even exist in any of the MK games), was only there because they didn't want a white johnny cage being the hero of the movie (producer is on record saying that), and he defeated the 9 time champion of the tournaments by literally getting covered in plot armor.

It's a decent movie if you don't know anything about mk, but man, it really shit on the fans.
