Just finished watching Prophecy. This episode was all over the place. Too many things going on at once. I hate how Kara was forced out unlike in the mythos she chose to go into the future. Clark shutting down the fortress was selfish. He's going to need it to fight Darkseid. The Legion of Doom was brief and served no purpose other than as a filler. The ending was kind of obvious. I hope the finale isn't as garbled as this episode.

God I hope you're kidding, it was horrible!. A bunch of slow, mushy crap, no action. Except for the last 10 minutes, which was not worth watching the 1.75 hours worth of garbage.

It was horribly written... the Apocalypse is near and Clark is just chit chatting at the Daily Planet, no urgency, are you kidding me?

It took two seasons worth of crap to come to the battle between doomsday and superman..... and all we get is a 10 second clip of him flying into him and he's magically defeated? ? GARBAGE.

And don't even get me started on the whole final showdown with Lex.

I'm downloading it so I can rewatch it. Now that I've come down from the high I can give you my honest review. People on kryptonsite have been going crazy with how it all ended. Not in a good way either. I'll get back to yall tonight.

I was pissed off that after all the years of not missing an episode, I missed the finally. But by the way you guys are talking.... seems I didnt miss much.

I had to miss it because my daughter (who is 4), called me and asked me to go see her. No choice to make, I couldnt turn her down just for the final episode of smallville.

Is there anywhere I can watch it over the net? Or will I just have to wait until I buy the final season box set?

I will miss the show, but I was also not impressed with the finale at all. Nice to see a lot of characters we haven't but it was all pretty pointless

the original producers only wanted to do 4-5 years tops. its the new ones that came on and dragged the crap out of the stories. i honestly think this show couldve ended in season 3-4.

I still cannot get out of my mind how terrible the series finale was. I'm amazed I even watched the whole thing.

The series started out awesome, I loved the first few seasons, then it quickly went down the shitter.

There's word that Warner Brothers restricted the producers on what they could do as far as Superman goes. They used cgi from Superman Returns and only used far away shots for the scenes with "superman". they didn't want anyone else associated with portraying Superman other than Henry Cavill in the reboot. the producers are getting hell by fans for tom welling not being in the suit; they said at the beginning of season 10 that he would be in the suit in the final episode.

After doing a lot of thinking I'm starting to realize the finale was ok. Not badass like season 3's finale. It still is one of my favorite shows given its faults. I hope the producers come out with an explanation for how scattered the finale was. This was never a show about Superman, it was a show on how he came to be. I'm going to watch the finale again here in a few, maybe ill get angry at it like everyone else has.
