71chevellejohn, I've managed to eat at McDonalds only twice in the last 8 months. I swore it and Sonic off. Sonic mostly because the fries just smell and taste wrong to me. Wendy's fries actually taste like potato, by comparison.

So does their chicken... its the lack of cleaning the nasty ass fryers.

Eric & Matt - Check out FoodMatters on Netflix streaming. I watched it last night, good shit. Matt, you'd be especially interested. Raw diet approach.

I watched it yesterday, got bored with it halfway through, but still watched the whole thing. It was just like, yeah, we get it, Doug, you like weed, 90% of your material is about it, can't you find something else to talk about?

I agree. Super High Me was boring as hell. My old weed smoking roommate loved it though.

Just watched Food Inc. Holy shit. I doubt it will make me change my eating habits that much, but fuck the food industry and the FDA. There are actually laws that keep people from speaking their mind about certain products? I guess the right to freedom of speech in this country really is a bunch of E-coli ridden bullshit.

I watched Food Matters and The Future of Foods last night.

I also "found" the following, if anyone wants a copy, I have them on a thumbdrive, if you can't "buy" them anywhere else.

                          Dirt - The Movie
                          Food Inc
The Real Dirt on Farmer John
                          The Garden
                          King Corn

On my way to Sprouts now to shop for next week, looks like I'll be making Forrest's wife's Lentil Chili for my non animal protein lunch

Just watched Food Inc last night and was quite suprised. I can't believe that Monsanto is allowed to get that much control of our food market and have half their old employees working for the FDA. Don't know how I can really make an impact other than try to buy organic and fresh foods from the farmers market and things like that but I will try and change our buying habits based on that movie.

                            WOW
