I vaguely rememered watching this movie like 4 years ago and thinking...too much gayness. I watched it again tonight since I hadn't seen it in so long, and yeah, there is some gayness, but if you can get past that...pretty fucking good. I must have matured enough so that the faggotry doesn't really bother me, especially after watching Spartacus. You have to dedicate quite a bit of time to watch it since it's over 3 hours long, but the battle scenes are super graphic and it's just got a good story to it. Great movie if you have the time.

I didnt care for it. It was too "Oliver Stone" for my tastes. Of course, there are plans for someone else to do another movie on Alexander, without it leaping from his childhood to when he was already fighting persia.Comment
