I think the visuals look great and I have full faith in Fasbender. That said, I think they really messed up the tone of this trailer. Playing crap Kanye West "music" is no way to get me fired up about a movie.

The past video game to movie adaptations have quite simply been craptastic. I have high hopes for this one. Assassins Creed, Uncharted, and Alan Wake all have the potential to make outstanding films.

Saw it today, I thought it was alright but to much eagle flying around scenes. Fight scenes were good tho

It was fine. Didn't come close to one of the best stories ever in a video game IMO (AC2), but it wasn't terrible. I think it spent too much time in present day though. In the games it's more of a framing device, and it works well that way. For the movie the present day was the main focus and it suffered for it.
