The show is not successful because people think it's cool or want to be like the characters on Jersey Shore. It's successful because it gives level-headed people with a sense of humor something to point and laugh at. It's the same principle as clowns, slapstick comedy, or a cat with tape on its feet. It's not for everyone, but if you can relax and enjoy it for what it is, you might catch yourself laughing your ass off every now and then.

Yes, this. I scare myself a little that it is a 'priority show'...ya know the kind when you know there is a new episode and you can't wait to watch it! UGH.

I wonder if anyone really watches the show for anything anything but the trainwreck value. We should clearly make a categories for Jersey Shore followers...ya know...so we aren't put in the same class as those OTHER watchers...what losers!!
