Well they say spiderman can lift 10 tons. His legs are stronger. He gets stronger with adrenalin kinda like the hulk but just not as extreme.

So is this worth seeing in IMAX 3D? What's the best theater to catch it in?

Jose, I wouldn't do the Imax 3-D. Watched it in 3-D and it really wasnt worth it. It was the only one that had a few seats left this past weekend so I bought those instead. Everything else was sold out and I wish I would've waited ti watch it on a standard screen instead.

          Spoilers below!!!!!!

This movie fell behind Captain America: Winter Soldier as the best marvel movies to date. I liked that these was somewhat a standalone movie. Nothing really connected to Infinity Wars and Thanos. Man there were some good surprises in this movie. Bucky killing the Starks, the other winter soldiers and Giant Man. That airport fight scene was fucking fabulous. Spider-Man was on point and Antman was killed it. They really focused alot in Spider-Man to set him up for his solo film, good way to delve into his powers; Spidey sense!!!! I also liked how they meshed Black Panther's storyline into the main story. Man they got the job done humanizing the heroes. Felt bad for Rodgers losing Peggy Carter. The Vision and Scarlet Witch interest in one another blossoming. Bucky struggling with what he's done in the past. Stark's battle with not being able to let go and do what he feels is right. And that final fight scene, showed us that Cap is more than just a hero, "i can do this all day". He's just a good man, nice nod to Captain America: The First Avenger. I was kind of disappointed that no Avenger died, I had read that one would. I'm guessing they're going to save Rodgers assassination for another film, it needs to be done now that Bucky is in the cryotube. Perfect way to bring him back into the mold and let him take on the mantle of Captain America. Loved the movie but I still think Winter Soldier is better than Civil War.

I just wish they would standardize the "Howard Starks". Since this was a Captain America film, they should have used Dominic Cooper. Instead they used the Howard Stark from Iron Man, which this film is technically not. But I have to say John Slattery plays Stark well.

Some good thoughts in here. Everybody loves Winter Soldier and I can't fault them for it. It's really well made. That said, there was more of that Avengers magic in this one. Great chemistry, more humor. That's why I rank this one above WS, but not by much.

I actually think they're doing a good job there. Cooper is young Stark in the 40's, Slattery plays older stark (late 60's-80's).

Ya I really don't care for the 3D myself as I don't feel it really adds anything to the movie. But I really do like seeing movies on a big screen with the best sound system possible. I was reading somewhere (Gizmodo possibly) that IMAX has come out with laser projectors that give the best picture available right now but I can't seem to find out if that's available in the DFW area or not. So I guess I'll go to my regular IMAX screen and overpay for 3D

"I've got something big, but I can't hold it for long" was quite possibly the greatest line I've heard in a Marvel movie. I think I was the only one in the theater that laughed though

So my nephew took me to see this yesterday at the Cinemark off of Webb Chappel and 635. It wasn't until we were sitting down talking about the movie that I realized that this was a non-3D IMAX showing of Civil War. Bad ass! I didn't think they showed any IMAX big movies without it being in 3D. Great movie and I got exactly what I wanted, watching the movie in all of it's IMAX glory without having to wear 3D glasses to enjoy it.

Great movie BTW. I like it better than Winter Soldier, which at this point had been my favorite MCU movie to date (better than Ultron IMO).

Awesome movie. Marvel did it again.

                      Spoiler Alert:

I really liked the fact that in the end, there was no super bad guy. Crossbones at the beginning, just set the stage. The whole story arose from within each character. Our heroes aren't infallible and they each carry their own baggage. As said earlier, the masks came off.
