Just finished binge watching both seasons the last two days. Although they can both stand on their own there are some ties between the two that make for some interesting tidbits.
I thought the whole UFO was a little odd but then remember the time period. Late 70's was the heyday of UFO sightings and movies like 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind', 'Alien', and 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers' so perhaps its a cultural reference.
