Anybody used to watch that old show..

There used to be this nature/wildlife show on TV when I was a kid. I want to say it was called "Wild America". I think it came on KERA 13. It had a guy with a beard and flannel shirt, and the show focused on North American wildlife. A couple of shows that I remember, were about the largemouth bass, and the Bighorn Sheep. Think I remember one about the Buffalo as well.

Do I have the name of the show right? IIRC, it would have been on in the era of Bob Ross and such. Did anyone watch this back in the day? Used to love that show.
