X-Files coming back

WTF is going on, again first episode was genius IMO, they had a strategy to chase and a good story behind it...then suddenly back to goofy cases and have NOT referred back to the big reveal in episode one yet..???

what are they doing here, just seeing if enough viewers will watch to kick start a new running of the show?

I dunno what is going on as I haven't seen any of the episodes. I did catch the last 5 minutes of last nights episode by accident and have no idea what its significance is.

I guess I need to catch up. But like I stated before, I like the corky, suspense episodes rather than the over arching storyline of aliens and government cover ups.

I look at this whole thing as a pat on the back for old fans. I can't take it serious, nor do i want to. I like the camp, it made me feel good.

There were plenty of goofy monster of the week episodes during the original run. Some were even as cheesy as this one.

OK, now I'm disappointed that they spent 3 episodes not talking about the alien/government conspiracy and they're going to jump right back into it and look like they're going to blow everything up in the finale.

yea if they were doing a standalone miniseries that first episode was BOSS to kick it off, but then just to hit on it again in the last. the whole aliens came but people took over their technology building a secret army etc was bad ass story line..



are they doing more of these? weird that they introduce a new younger scully and mulder near the end...?

Was his child flying the craft? My wife said they found kiddo after the ship took off in that earlier episode but I can't remember.
