Watched it with the wife last night. We both really dug it. I think it's well done, and you're right about the period 40's wardrobe and cars and everything else. Very, very cool. I'll be watching the rest of this series for sure.

More like an 8 episode first season, I think. No official plans for a second season, but it's a reasonable expectation.

Edit: not only is the show good, but Haley Atwell is very easy on the eyes.

Still curious if this will play into Ultron at all...since its already been said Coulson and his team will not

Doubtful that Ultron would show up because he's a modern-day thing, but Agent Carter has already been in Agents of Shield (flashback), and some plot points/McGuffins have already crossed over. I expect more artifacts and stuff will show up in AoS, but given the 70ish year time difference, it'll be tough to go the other way.
