This is why I want a movie out of the Simarillion. It is alot more action and more death. It has a more epic sweep of a grander time with bigger villains and heroes.

Plus, its alot more elves kicking ass.

Yea, I was fucking with you about star wars. I really didn't like the Hobbit movies, though.

              I will be seeing it!

So I'm surprised no one has updated this. Has anyone seen it yet? I've actually gone to the theater twice to see it. First time, the IMAX screening at Northpark had the projector "crashing" and they gave us vouchers to see it another time. We went the following day and finally got to watch the movie in it's entirety. What sucked was having to deal with the Christmas traffic at Northpark TWICE! And having to buy snacks and drinks a second time. Another epic battle and great movie, it was worth the trouble.

I was forced to watch it last night. I don't care for them but suffered through.

I couldn't find time for it this weekend. I'll definitely be seeing it this weekend. I'm hearing it's the best of the 3, and I liked the first 2.

I'll have a week off during the holiday, so I'm hoping I can scrounged 3 hours to go see this. Saw the first two in video...want to see the "final" chapter on the big screen.

Overrated. I'd say wait for it at home. I liked lotr a lot but the hobbit never really caught my interest the same way.

I liked these, but not nearly as much as LOR. This story was too drawn out, they could have easily told it in one or two shorter films. I was happy this last one was closer to 2 hours long than 3.
