haha well that's my picks! i bet you haven't seen most of 'em because they weren't blockbuster hits. i love "under-rated" movies that surprise me to be original movies.

I guess I get my man card back, just finished it. Great movie. The direction and cinematography was ahead of its time. I think it earned its spot in the list. I think this movie influenced/inspired some of Tarantino's work.

You should watch the other 2 movies. A Fist Full of Dollars & For a Few Dollars More.

"Wallace was tried in Westminster Hall on 23 August 1305. A list of his crimes, including murder and treason, were read out. Wallace denied that he was guilty of treason - he had never sworn allegiance to Edward. The verdict and the punishment were decided before the trail began. Wallace was to be given a traitor’s death - he was to be hanged, drawn and quartered.

William Wallace was strapped to a wooden hurdle. He was dragged though the streets to the Elms at Smithfield. There he was hanged from a gallows but cut down while he still lived. He was disembowelled before his head was hacked off and his body was cut into pieces.

The quarters of Wallace’s body were sent to Berwick, Newcastle upon Tyne, Stirling and Perth to show the price of treason. Wallace’s head was spiked above London Bridge"

Ummm, I watched the movie a few nights ago. In the movie, he was hanged from the gallows, cut down, beheaded, and quartered. So other than the order of the beheading/quartering...seems pretty accurate as far as the death goes.

I watched 12 Angry Men last night. It was a good movie, but I didn't think it was great, certainly not top 10. I couldn't help thinking while watching it how much better the book must have been.

It was weird seeing a movie filmed almost entirely in one set. I think some of the acting was a little dramatic by today's standards. The movie just scratched the surface, but there are all sorts of human relations/influence/prejudice/pack mentality elements and I bet the book went much deeper. Glad I watched it.

12 Angry Men and Seven Samurai are both excellent little known movies.

I watched Seven Samurai tonight, it was OK. It was way too long and pretty forced at times and I don't think the production was up to American standards. I liked the story though.

I've now seen the top 20. Next up City of God, which I don't recall ever hearing of.
