Skip it unless you are bored and see it at a cheap theater (like I did)

Visual effects - AWESOME
Storyline - Just above a softcore porn storyline. Not really that great of acting, they just run around doing the same stuff over again...the ending to me was a "Wow, didn't see that coming" and not in a good way.

Overall, I am just a drone human so I watch action flicks and don't care too much about story line (read: favorite movie is Commando with Arnold...yeah)

See it if you are bored and can get the $3.25 afternoon show.

Wow, I feel like I've seen this movie 8 times on the first viewing. Probably because they've ripped off EVERY single major "invade earth" type movie of the last 50 years. Independence Day, War of the Worlds, District 9, Cloverfield, etc.

the only thing i liked about skyline was that it was "semi realistic"...in the sense that if some alien race treked 1/2 way across the galaxy to get here, the likley hood we would stand a chance would be slim to none..
