This is Justin Halpern's second run at the premise of this show. Years ago he started a twitter feed called "Shit my Dad Says". It then turned in to a book, a show on CBS, both of the same name. William Shatner was the Dad the first time around. He was great, but the rest of the cast sucked. There was still a ton of comedic gold in there. I'm glad he didn't give up on the premise. It reminds me of my father. It's on Fox on Thursday nights, and Christopher Meloni plays the Dad. Mel and I watched the first two episodes last night, and laughed so hard.
