          He said he was quitting public life, and that lasted all of a day and a half or so before he was back on Twitter making dumb tweets.

                        I have only heard he is a pretty private guy that doesn't care for the fame and popularity acting has brought. I got the impression he just wants to be left alone when in public and not hounded for autographs. I can't recall any really negative things about him, except of course that he is a democrat.
