good start to the season no doubt...BUT.....ok so what happens to the other Barry in the whole flashpoint thing, at the end of last season the barry we know goes back in time and stops reverse flash from killing his mother...well the younger version of barry should still be in that house correct or at least exist at the time the older barry stops reverse flash? SO there are now 2 barrys in that timeline? One older than the other? Yet it is older Barry who is interacting with everyone the one who knows he traveled in time...so where is younger timeline barry

By older Barry do you mean Jay Gerrick from one of the other earth's? Yesterdays episode showed that Barry lived his life after he stopped his mom's death, he altered it again creating a third timeline where the series is at now. By Barry stopping the reverse flash the younger one disappeared and Barry lived out the outcome of the first alteration. I think....

Someone let me borrow their Netflix, I need to watch Arrow, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl. They're introducing J.S.A, Metallo, Lena Luthor, Legion of Doom all thanks to Supergirl being on the CW and Superman finally shown in season 2. They really not holding back this time, no blockades with what they're can use and can't. Justice League is also on the table and even linking the shows to DC's cinematic universe. I wish Smallville would've been able to do this back in the day. Even Batman is being geared up for a hopeful appearance in the near future. I bet the Flashpoint storytline is what's making this happen happen. Why else would they do a 4 day crossover. If so...epic!!!!

So they're going to introduce Superman in Supergirl for the first two episodes. All the Smallville fans are screaming for Tom Welling, after all he's the CW'S first successful superhero tv show. They're using The Flash's multiverse concept storyline as the reason why they should use Tom Welling.

Just suspend disbelief because the more you think about it (and you are smart) the more it doesn't make sense. lol.

I do believe there will be a flash point'esque 3rd season. I don't think cyborg will be in it but I do think his time line will go to hell. Everyone he loves will be dead or evil and the whole season will try to restore the time line.

Expect a bad Vibe, Killer Frost, Dead Joe, Parents will definitely still be dead, Wally will be a speedster, and Iris will be a porn star.

It will be good. Lost didn't lose me until the last season and that show was a god damn time traveling train wreck so I think I can hang in here through this.

Don't read if you haven't finished watching this season.

I like the show overall, but I thought the season finale was ridiculous. I still don't fully understand how the timeline remnants work. Was it Barry or the copy of Barry that sacrificed himself in the race? The Jay Garrett man in the mask reveal was kind of interesting, especially for those few who liked the 90s Flash TV series with John Wesley Shipp.

I just didn't like the final twist. I thought what he chose to do was both foolish and selfish. When Barry saw his younger self fade out of existence in the house, I really hope he realized what that signifies. Flashpoint.

I tried watching Supergirl a couple of times after the Flash crossover. That show is just plain awful. They are too busy with being a "smart, feminist" series to write stories that are actually entertaining. Too much political statement crap and too little comic book. Boring

Didn't the flash turn evil in earth 2? Jay Gerrick came from Earth 3 to earth 2 right? 'I'm going off of bits and pieces I've seen of this show. Now Zoom has turned into the black flash, they're not holding back on this series. I definitely need to watch all the episodes. It sure looks like they're heading for Flashpoint next season.

no if i remember right there was never a good flash on earth 2. Hunter Zolomon the serial killer was given access to speed force and he stated that he also became jay garrick the "good" flash in order to give people hope then tear it away....

but i would assume he went to earth 3 first to capture the real flash there and take his name and costume? never really clarified that though

It's always been Jay Gerrick manipulating the time line. Now with Flash going back in time and saving his mom, he's messed with the space time continuum. Flash turns bad, Jay Gerrick to the rescue. I'm just guessing, this show is wild.

So I am at episode 18 of season 1. Holy crap there are a lot of episodes in one season.

This thing delivers way more than Smallville ever did. This is what people wanted to see from Smallville. I just hope they can string this whole story line in a way that makes sense and doesn't get too overly complicated.

Smallville had issues from the get go. Thank the lawsuit for that. There were stipulations from the get go they had to adhere to. The Siegel family fucked this up. They were banking on getting royalties from Superman Returns and didn't want the tv series to capitalize on it. Smallville was restricted on content heavily, he couldn't be called Superman, also Bruce Wayne nor Diana Prince could be mentioned on the show. They had slim pickings to work with. Fuck, even the flash couldn't be called the flash. The Siegel family really fucked it up because of Superman Returns, licensing bullshit.

I've been getting caught up slowly and just happened to watch the season finale tonight. Holy shit, are we getting The Flashpoint Paradox now??? If so, next season is going to be badass.


Also Supergirl is now on the CW and they're planning on a major crossover between all four shows; The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow.

Bring back Tom Welling for this!!!! That would be epic.

there has to be, without the future tech eobard had last year, unless it is twin or cloning then how could they be the same person. I could see how zoom let Jay get into the group and get trusted then he took over for him and imprisoned the real jay(man in mask)
