Kacey Musgraves CMA New Artist

She's a nice young lady and is one of the few female country music artists' that I can enjoy. She and my youngest daughter became acquaintances in Austin when 19-year-old Kacey was bouncing around playing dives alone. My daughter and her friends would follow her around to give her some support. She was touring with Kenny Chesney last summer and left my daughter two back-stage/all access passes for the Austin show. She remembered her supporting her 4/5 years ago. Pretty cool.

Yeah. The Mineola area. Our families in east Texas know each other (though we didn't know her) and when we heard she was going to be playing around Austin, my daughter found out where she was. Mainly little 6th st. gigs at first.
