Hand moving was foreshadowing. I of course didn't know for sure, but liking gods of the arena on facebook, I've seen a bunch of people talking about Lucretia trying to take revenge and if Gannicus will be back. I guess that's why the perezhilton thing wasn't new to me.

I hope Gannicus comes back in some way. He's probably been my favorite character in the entire series.

I remember when Batiatus wanted Spartacus to fight with two swords he mentioned some past arena champion, but I don't remember if it was Gannicus or not. Remember in GotA though, Batiatus said that the name "Gannicus" is not to be spoken of in his house.

I kind of remember the 2 swords, which makes sense. I'm guessing it was last episode of GOTA when he said that. Guess I missed that part.

It was right after Gannicus left the Ludis. Batiatus said "I offered him coin and the right to come and go as he pleases if he wishes to fight for me in the arena, but memories of this place haunt the man. The name Gannicus is not to be spoken within these walls."
