Pretty good. Made a huge blt this morning, camped out in my backyard for awhile reading 127 Hours, took a nap, sold the lowering springs I bought awhile back for the 5.0 to Drew, had some leftover Mr. Jim's for dinner while watching Tonight You're Mine. No complaints at all. Thanks for asking.

Following the sudden, tragic death of Fast & Furious franchise star Paul Walker over the weekend, production on the sequel Fast & Furious 7 had been delayed indefinitely to allow the cast and crew to mourn, and director James Wan and the film's producers figure out how to proceed. The film is just over halfway in the can, but there are still plenty of key scenes with Walker's character left to be shot. Now The Wrap has word on a couple of possibilities, the most extreme would have production scrapping everything they've shot and starting over from scratch. But doesn't that seem expensive for a $200 million blockbuster?

Well, Universal Pictures is insured for unexpected tragedies as this, and that would allow them to start over without incurring any serious costs. But that's just one viable option. There seems to be some dissension among the sources providing this information as one says the film could be made without Walker's Brian O'Connor character, while another says that's not even in consideration. With the same amount of disagreement, one insider says a decision on what to do with the film is just days away, while another says it will likely take weeks to figure out how the film will recover.

Supposedly, the producers want to be "careful not to force the movie to conform to the original cast just for the sake of preserving Walker’s scenes." However, that would seem like the smart thing to do, if only to figure out some way to make him go out in glory. It's hard to say whether it's tasteless to kill the character off, or if that would be a fitting tribute to the adrenaline-loving actor who loved racing on and off the screen. Fans would surely like to see Walker go out while fighting for his Fast & Furious team instead of just having him disappear without explanation (or with a lame on-screen reference to his absence). But still, trying to fit that element into a story that wasn't planning on that character death would be hard.

Either way, this is a tough situation for Universal, and there's likely no perfect decision that will make everyone happy. However, there's at least some light at the end of the tunnel in the wake of Walker's death. THR reports the studio has decided to donate part of the proceeds from the Blu-Ray/DVD sales of Fast & Furious 6 (arriving on December 10th) to Walker's nonprofit charity Reach Out WorldWide. Walker founded the organization after the January 2010 Haiti earthquake, and it gathers a network of professionals with first responder skill-sets who bring their expertise to areas devastated by natural disasters. Thoughts?

UPDATE: Universal made this official statement: "Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul's immediate family and our extended Fast & Furious family of cast, crew and filmmakers. At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on Fast & Furious 7 for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise. We are committed to keeping Fast & Furious fans informed, and we will provide further information to them when we have it. Until then, we know they join us in mourning the passing of our dear friend Paul Walker."

Paul Walker is tragically gone, but he's not about to be forgotten. Nearly a month after he lost his life in a fiery car crash, the star is still front and center in the minds of his "Fast & Furious" family.

Vin Diesel took to Facebook to share a never-before-seen picture from his final scene with his fallen friend from the set of "Fast & Furious 7," and also announced the sequel's new release date:

"Fast and Furious 7 will be released… April 10th 2015!" he declared before adding, "P.s. He'd want you to know first…"

Universal released an official statement that confirmed both Diesel's announcement, as well as the fact that the late Walker will still have a prominent role and share top billing.

"Continuing with the global exploits in the franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead the returning cast of 'Fast & Furious 7,'" the studio announced.

Fans of Diesel, Walker and the "Fast and Furious" series reacted positively and emotionally to Vin's post, which has already drawn over 1 million likes and 22,000 comments.

There is definitely something eerie about the shot. The actors wear solemn expressions and appear to be captivated by a reddish light — that could be a blaze — off-screen. Still, there is a certain camaraderie that shines through.

"The last scene we filmed together," Diesel explained. "There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we've come."

Co-star Ludacris was quick to echo Vin's sentiments, sharing his news via Instagram. "As #TeamPW promised, we want to keep you updated on Paul," he wrote. "For all the @fastandfuriousmovie fans who have been asking, #VinDiesel just announced #FF7's new release date."

hile Universal always intended for "Fast & Furious 7" to roll on following Walker's Nov. 30 death, insiders told Yahoo Movies there were several factors at play in determining how filmmakers would proceed.

Shooting had been under way since September, but there were several scenes with Walker that had not been filmed. According to sources involved in the film, about two-thirds of the script needed to be rewritten to accommodate Walker's loss. In the days after his death, production was shut down immediately, and the original release date of July 11, 2014 was scrapped. Meanwhile, writers and the film's brain trust (studio execs, producers, director James Wan, and Diesel, in consultation with Walker's family) scrambled to come up with the best option to revamp the film in a manner that would be respectful to the late star.

So, while Walker's death continues to sadden fans, at least now they know (definitively) that in the spring of 2015, they will get the chance to ride with him one last time.

I heard they might get his brother to stand in for him. They look un cannily similar. I actually wouldn't mind that to keep the character going, and I think it would be respectful.

With production on Fast & Furious 7 resuming this spring after Universal halted shooting following the tragic death of Paul Walker, it appears we know how director James Wan will finish the franchise sequel without one of his lead actors. Just as we heard that The Hunger Games: Mockingjay would need to partially recreate the late Philip Seymour Hoffman to finish some scenes that had yet to be completed, a source has told New York Daily News that some actors have been hired to act as body doubles, and visual effects will be used to superimpose Walker's face over them along with Walker's previously recorded lines.

The source says, "They have hired four actors with bodies very similar to Paul’s physique and they will be used for movement and as a base. Paul’s face and voice will be used on top using CGI.” Now before anyone gets bent out of shape, it seems pretty clear that this combination of body doubles and visual effects will likely only be used to complete the scenes that had already been shot, rather than shooting new stuff. Otherwise, someone would have to impersonate Walker's voice as well. So this method is probably being used to finish different angles of some sequences that were already in production.

The film is picking up shooting with six to eight weeks left of production in Atlanta, and the sequel has already been pushed backed to a release on April 10th, 2015 to allow enough time for the reworked film to be finished. Though we know how production will handle Walker's death, we're still not sure how his absence will effect the story. One rumor said Walker's character would simply be retired rather than morbidly being killed off, but that's still going to be tough to explain unless they just use Jordana Brewster and their new baby as a reason for him to finally walk away. We'll see.

Moving up the release date, but only by a week.

April has historically been a good month for the Fast & Furious franchise. While most of the movies have come out in June, the two films in the series that came out in the fourth month of the year currently stand as two of the top three best box office performers. That in mind, it's no surprise that Universal Pictures is planning to go back to that well with the release of James Wan's Fast & Furious 7, but now they're going even earlier than originally anticipated.

Following the production delay after Paul Walker's death last November, Universal announced that they would be moving Fast & Furious 7 from July 11, 2014 to April 10, 2015, but now news has come down from The Hollywood Reporter that they are shifting the movie up. Instead of being released on April 10, 2015, it will now instead come out on April 3, 2015 - one week earlier.

Okay, this isn't the most earth-shattering news that we've heard this week, or maybe even in the last couple hours, but it does make sense on some levels. While it's somewhat strange that the blockbuster is moving from a week with no direct competition to one with another wide release already set up (the big screen adaptation of Nicholas Spark's The Longest Ride), it makes sense when you think about what's going to be coming out in early May 2015. Not really sharing a demographic, Fast & Furious 7 should really have no trouble with its romantic drama competition, and it now has nearly a full month of buffer between it and the release of Joss Whedon's The Avengers: Age of Ultron - which very well could end up being one of the biggest films of all time. Still set to come out in late April is the nature documentary Monkey Kingdom from Disney, Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 from Sony, and the sci-fi thriller Selfless from Focus Features, but with the right amount of buzz - not to mention the Paul Walker post-mortem effect - the next Fast & Furious could wind up driving all over those.

It's also worth mentioning that the first week of April is quickly becoming a new hot release date on the movie calendar. In 2009 Fast & Furious brought in $70 million its opening weekend, but more recently Captain America: The Winter Soldier - which came out earlier this year - managed to bank $95 million. The Marvel Studios film now stands as the biggest April blockbuster of all time, so the question is: will Fast & Furious 7 be able to dethrone it?

Directed by James Wan - his first in the franchise - and scripted by Chris Morgan, Fast & Furious 7 finds Dom and his crew finally back in Los Angeles, but dealing with the vengeful Ian Shaw, who wants revenge for the death of his brother, Owen, in Fast & Furious 6. The ever-growing ensemble will include Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Lucas Black, Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey and Djimon Hounsou.

April has historically been a good month for the Fast & Furious franchise. While most of the movies have come out in June, the two films in the series that came out in the fourth month of the year currently stand as two of the top three best box office performers.
