Good finale, but would have ended better if Deb knew who the FUCK was behind the sheet of plastic.

I was actually a little pissed she didn't have the erge to figure out who it was.
Probably so she could be honest when saying she didn't know who the vigilantes were. I thought it was pretty clever how they did it. I just want to know how Dexter wasn't identified considering he was bleeding when he got out of the wrecked grand prix. Oh well, even Dexter can't be completely flawless.

They got a bit sloppy with the details this season for sure.
My guess is they used to be so detailed about the clean up and everything, they now just leave it out and everyone should assume he cleaned up after himself.

That would probably be by new sig if I didn't have them disabled. I thought it was funny at the end: "I know you don't like Quinn much..." "No. I don't like him at all."

          SPOILER!!!

I was kinda right, Deb let them go! haha, that was a great ending. Dex and Quinn having a given understanding now. Deb letting her feelings get the best of her. Lumen actually leaving as quickly as she came into his life. Can not wait for the next!

Just fininshed the last one. Greatness. As far as the blood in the car a little bleach and good to go. They were at an old camp I bet there was some around a quick splash and out.

But wouldn't have Jordan noticed it when he tied him up? That was a pretty big knife...

Next season might be abit weird now. Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are getting divorced. I hope it doesn't effect the show at all.

Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter -- co-stars on the hit Showtime show "Dexter" -- announced today they are divorcing.

It said they had been seperated for a while. Hopefully they're both professional enough for it to not affect their work.

I wasn't too thrilled with the finale. It was alright, but because of Debera's character I think it's a little too far fetched for her to let them go since she was all about solving this case. It seemed like they came to some pretty far fetched conclusions in a hurry that there were two vigilante killers. Besides Deb is starting to drive me nuts. Every time she talks it seems like she's about ready to cry. Besides she needs to eat a few KFC Double Downs. That bitch is far too skinny.

I get the feeling this is going to come back to haunt her. She fired her weapon and there was nothing about her picking up the empty casing before she left the scene. Somehow someone is going to find the empty casing and she's going to get involved with this next season. They can't leave a huge loophole like that unexplained.

There were quite a few loopholes in the season however, I disagree with your opinion on her not having it in her character to let them go. She romanticized the ideal of number 13 escaping and taking revenge on her captives with somebody that was dedicated to her enough to risk his life. She obsessed herself with watching those rape vids, and her having a somewhat similar experience made it more personal than professional.

I've always had the impression of her portraying herself as a "by the book" kind of cop who wants to excel in her profession. They always show her obsessing over every case in every episode. That's probably why I am a little tilted since she handled this case no differently than any other- obsessiveness to the point of her breaking out and bawling about every time she speaks. Just seems the way it was shown was a little over the top.

Don't forget about Laguerta throwing her under the bus with the night club incident. That was when she concluded that "by the book" wasn't how it always worked.

At some point I'm expecting Deb to be killed off to push Dexter over the edge.

                              Hadn't considered that.

Is it just me or did this season finale feel just like the ending of season 3

Even though this seasons ratings were higher than ever, I didn't enjoy this season as much as the one before. I enjoyed the cat and mouse game he played with Trinity alot. This thing with Quinn is just annoying.
