Here is my hypothesis:
At the birthday party, Deb said I bet your glad that/this is over.
Deb has always had that gut feeling that's been right.
Lumen popped into Dexters life and she looks similar to all the barrel girls
Deb knows there is a vigilante killer w/ a side kick one M and one F.
I'm pretty sure Deb has a good hunch it's Dexter. She is just being subtle about it for his sake. I don't think she knows about his past "demons" but I'm willing to bet she knows he and lumen were the killers.
With that said they recently announced that there will be a 6th season. Deb and Dexter are divorced now so I don't expect it to air after next season

I dunno, the ratings were higher than they have ever been last season. He has been doing it 6 years. It's inevitable. Don't get me wrong, I'd watch that shit till season 10. Unfortunately all good things come to an end and I see that happening here. They weren't even sure if they were going to have a sixth season till a month or so ago
