Yep. I'm officially stoked. I love the Bond franchise.

So I guess this will be the last Daniel Craig Bond at least until they try to pay him an ungodly amount of $$$...

Damn. Wonder what made him have such disdain for the role?

            That's disappointing.

That's not exactly how that went down, and it's been twisted to tell a "never again" story. The truth is, when asked about the next movie, he said in colorful language that he doesn't want to think about that right now. He is under contract for one more.

Well that's good to hear. Although I've said ever new Bond is the best Bond ever, I really like Daniel Craig. He brings a physicality to the role that I don't think any previous Bond has ever had. Plus I like the plots more.

Yeah, Quantum of Solice notwithstanding, the Daniel Craig films are on a whole other level. Casino was fantastic but Skyfall broke the mold for me. F'n excellent movie.

I heard on the radio that he is just burned the fuck out right now. The movie took something like 8 months to shoot and he is just tired and really wants to do other stuff. He said he likes bond but he really wants a break. In the story I heard he said no more for now but he wasn't ruling it out 100%; he likes bond but is just fucking tired. Can't blame the guy. It is a damned physical role and 8 months is a long time for that kind of work.

Skyfall was my favorite Bond movie ever. I appreciated the darkness, the pain, the evil of Javier Bardem was fantastic, and the plot was outstanding.

There must be something wrong with me but I didn't enjoy Skyfall as much as I enjoyed Casino Royal or Quantum of Solace. It was just OK and I have given it a second and third watch to see if maybe I just wasn't getting it but I still didn't enjoy it.

I totally get that. Looking back at IMDb, he really hadn't done a whole lot besides Bond compared to other actors. Hearing that it took 8 months for Spectre it makes sense. Hopefully he has a change of heart after the next Bond movie because I could definitely watch him for a few more Bond movies. I haven't looked but I'm sure he's not even close to being the longest run Bond actor yet.

x2 I actually noticed the great cinematography.

I think Connery has the record for number of Bond films but I could be wrong on that; just seems like I read that somewhere. And Sean Connery did hate the role but I can't remember why.

Anybody see this one? I just got home from the theater and damn, I really enjoyed it. The single long shot at the beginning was some pretty camera work.
