Last year it was Thomas Jane returning as Frank Castle in short film form to show how the character can be done bone-bendingly right. This year, producer Adi Shankar has teamed with none other than Joe Lynch (!) to deliver another solid take on an iconic comic book figure.

Ryan Kwanten verbally tap dances his way through Truth in Journalism as Eddie Brock, a reporter with a particular affliction and an ax to grind against your friendly neighborhood hero. With the similar snap of Man Bites Dog, Eddie has allowed a French film crew to document his morbid daily life.

In under 14 minutes, they’ve righted the wrongs of Spider-Man 3, and you’ll probably want to stick around after the credits.

I think they tried to push it with their short film last year but no studios have picked it up.

Deadpool is in the works. There's a script out there. Ryan Reynolds is trying to get the ball rolling. The studios are hesitant because the script is pushing an R rating and the studios aren't willing to jump on it.

Deadpool SHOULD be "R" rated...and full of cussing and violence. The way a correct Deadpool movie should be.

Why do you think the Wolverine movies haven't exactly been thrilling? Nothing like watching Wolvie hack up a bunch of people and his claws are as clean as a whistle...barely any blood.

At least this new Wolverine movie had a little bit of blood. I want to see an "R" rated Wolverine set in Madripoor where he's "Patch" and then goes out and just runs through a bunch of mother fuckers, teams up with Cable at the end to kill a bunch of people.
