      Pretty solid.

That was bad ass. Better than the first which I also liked. It seemed that they were really paying attention to what worked in the avengers. There was some good Joss Whedon style humor.

Did anyone stick around for the scene after the credits? Most I've talked to didn't get it. Let's just say that the story line from whence this aludes goes back about 20 years...and it was one of the best storylines I ever read from Marvel.
If that is the case, there will be a lot of characters getting killed in the future (Avengers 3).

I hope they show more of Thanos in the guardians of the galaxy.

I loved this movie. It was light years better than the first. The final fight scene was pretty awesome.

well there was "Thanos Quest"...this was his quest to acquire the infinity gems. Once he has them, he places them on his left glove, hence the Infinity Gauntlet. There are some more tie ins in the Silver Surfer/Fantastic Four but then it is its own 6 issue series and it was one of the best stories Marvel printed. But it's way too big to make into a movie. It would be Lord of the Rings Trilogy at the very least. and at least half of everyone dies (literally)

Just curious, who stops Thanos to end it and how.

I was always more into DC comics than Marvel. So I don't really know anything about this infinity gauntlet storyline.
