i read that this movie was actually made like 5 years ago but the studio didn't want to release it until the opening scene was re-shot but ron howard refused to do it because it would screw up the integrity of the film.

I do not see too many movies at the theater anymore, but this is one I will go see.
              Some cars and a bike...

                            And most importantly, Chris Knight.

It was pretty good. The start seemed like it had some awkward expositionary dialogue where the actors were trying too hard to recite their lines, but they pulled out of it. I think it has a lot to do just with the guy from Inglourious Basterds method of acting. He also has a penchant for playing fairly annoying people, which probably doesn't help my critical eye. Overall, I enjoyed it, and agreed with some the the competitive messages it delivered. Cinematography was a bit of a letdown with too many sweeping shots that didn't get a good bead on the action. I'll check it out again.

I thought it was bad ass and easily one of the best movies I've seen in awhile. Ron Howard did a very good job on this.

Hospital scene gave me the heebie jeebies though
