The main character (Jax?) had the gayest walk I've ever seen, and I'm fairly certain that any biker gang would beat him to a pulp just for that... I've heard that its a good show from a lot of people, so maybe it gets better...at least I hope it does, as I'm starting to wonder about some folks. Now, "Breaking Bad" is probably the best series I've ever watched. Unfortunately, they're ending it and the final 7-8 episodes start in July.
youre a fool. it's an awesome series

In your opinion, does the cheesiness of the first episode continue throughout the series, or is it just the first episode or maybe even first few episodes? If it gets better, I might give it another chance...my wife and I were both laughing at the first episode.

it gets better for sure. if you like shows like breaking bad or justified, you'll like this series. not saying they are in any way related, but they all have good, action packed story lines.

I've never seen justified, but I'll check it put and give soa another shot. I'm spoiled to the greatness of Breaking Bad. That has been a great series!

with that statement you lose all credibility. breaking bad is A+ from episode 1 and only gets better as it goes along

IMO the acting improves toward the end of the first season and its less cheezy.

Justified is on Amazon Prime. Badass show. Trying to get into Hell On Wheels, not sure if it is going to make the cut. 4 episodes in. IT Crowd is hilarious if you have an off kilter sense of humor and don't need everything spelled out to you. I watched a season and a half of Mad Men and lost interest. 2 seasons of The Walking Dead and same. Sons of Anarchy does get better, but it isn't a "must see" for me.

Love this show, the movie was excellent. Peep Show is another brilliant series, one of the funniest I've seen.

I tried watches SOA but it was so corny I stopped after a couple of episodes. I hear its gotten better as its went on so some day I might try again.

A killing is really good. Hell on wheels, the wire. Breaking bad is the best show on tv imo
